Verizon’s Small Business Bundle
GETTING VERIZON’S SMALL BUSINESS BUNDLE
(Guest post by Elizabeth Stilwell)
Unhappy with my existing internet and phone services, I switched to Verizon. The process was easy, and I got much more than I expected. Verizon did not charge anything for enrollment, and its customer service department, doing all that anyone could ask, helped make the transition almost seamless.
The Verizon internet service I have now is much faster than what I had before, and it includes free storage and backup options that my previous internet provider didn’t offer. I’ve clocked my download speeds at 10 to 15 megabits per second, and my upload speeds at 1 megabit per second. This works well for my business. As many as fifteen people may be working here at once, most of us on the internet at the same time, so it’s essential that our web service be reliable and fast. We also maintain an online store, and we want our customers to be able to shop and place their orders without hiccups.
Along with providing the fastest internet service I’ve ever had, Verizon charges $30 less per month for its internet and phone bundle than I was paying before. The package costs less than $100 per month. I pay slightly more than $100, but only because I chose the optional $5 security package that protects all of my business web-enabled mobile devices: laptop computers, tablets, and smart phones.
The security package protects all of the data on my business computers and mobile devices. It blocks viruses, attempted hacks, fake alerts, and online ads, and it even provides data loss prevention. I can retrieve any lost data with remote wipe, backup, restore, trace, and locate options. I feel safer knowing that my sensitive business data is protected in case a device is lost or stolen. With the Verizon security package, I can even monitor employee internet usage. The package includes a security dashboard, so I can adjust settings, and the system alerts me about any attempted security breaches.
For any business interested in internet and phone service, I highly recommend Verizon.
